Compaq 8300
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

Hello

I had a Compaq 4300 which stopped working because of a strike of lightning. I replaced the motherboard for a 8300 series, formatted the HD and reinstalled Windows. Now everytime I turn on the PC it shows the message "2234-HECI error during initialization". If I press F1 ("Boot" option) it starts the Windows normally. I updated the BIOS version to the latest (2.9) but it's still showing the error message. Looking on Google, seems like this error is related to some "AMT/ME" configuration but there's no "AMT" option on BIOS' advanced menu (I checked).

1. What does this error mean? Do I have to worry about it ?

2. How to get rid of it?
