computer suddenly stopped working-wont go past hp logo screen

tried CMOS and BIOS troubleshoots from HP website

Screen not entirely black theres a slight glow and after CMOS and BIOS troublehoots it will get to HP logo and then wont go any further. I tried the hit the windows button and V and B buttons and did get to the blue screen with the drop down menus while going through the CMOS-BIOS troubleshoots.

First screen i ran into at the very beginning was the CMOS checksum is invalid screen-restarted the computer but i cant get it to work

How old is the computer?

There is a battery on the motherboard, about the size of a $0.25 coin.

When that battery runs out of juice, it no longer can supply power to the CMOS.

The stored values in the CMOS are "lost", and that causes the error-message.

After those settings are "lost", the motherboard cannot "find" the disk-drive, and thus cannot load Windows from the disk-drive.

Replacing that "button-battery" on an All-In-One computer should be done only by a computer technician.
