Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

310 HP Touch Smart will not power on, there is nothing wrong with the cords and power pack I had that checked.  When I first turn the computer on it started for few seconds and went out

The power-supply needs to output several different voltages.

Under the assumption that it does, what else could it be:

* RAM

* processor

* motherboard

Disconnect the AC power.

Disconnect the disk-drive, the CD/DVD drive, and all external devices - mouse / keyboard / printer / webcam / USB memory-stick / external disk-drive.

Reconnect the AC power, and press the on/off button.

Anything?

Remove the RAM.

If the POST (Power On Self Test) is working, the lack of any RAM should cause something, such as "beeps" or flashing LEDs, in a repeating pattern. If nothing, then the POST has failed, implying a bad motherboard.
