HP 24-r035xt
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a HP All In One 24-r035xt computer. We had a thunderstorm and now when I turn the desktop on I get a Boot Device Not Found message. I thought it was the Hard drive so I put a brand new one in it but got the same error. I then order a new Hard drive connector and replaced the old one. No luck same problem. Any ideas?

Greetings,

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

It sounds like you may have a motherboard problem (SATA controller) if a new HDD and new SATA data connectors don't help.

Do you think the PC was zapped during the storm?

Run HP Diagnostics to check all hardware.

Tap "ESC" at boot.

Select "F2".

Run fast and extensive system tests. Run component tests.

Regards
