HP Z620 dual E5-2690
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Greetings

After 2 weeks of showing different QPI 932 errors on startup ( once showing both CPU 932 error, another time showing only CPU1 932 error) , now the workstation won't boot.

Pressing the power button will start the unit with a loud GPU fan spinning fast and the system beeps 6 times(along with red led) then pause 2 seconds , then 6 beeps again and so on.

Also my RAM sticks are Dell Certified 4×8Gb ECC Registered 1600mhz ( 2 on CPU0, 2 on CPU1) SK Hynix

Is it a GPU failure? Quadro K4000

Hi:

Yes, it is a video failure of some kind.

Please see the service manual at the link below, chapter 4, page 146, for the 6 beep code troubleshooting steps...

Just replaced gpu with a consumer one (gtx 760) temporary and it looks fine.
Now I gotta find out about the 932+929 error but that is another story.

Thanks!
