I am trying to change the original administrator...how do I do this?

I have no idea what you mean by "original" administrator -- you would need to explain.

 

Since Windows 7, all Windows PCs have a "hidden" Administrator account that is automatically created and can only be seen and accesses by unhiding it.  It can not be changed.  But I don't think you are are referring to this account.

 

When you create the first account on a Windows PC, is is NOT an Administrator account but is a regular account with SOME Admin rights.  If you want to change that in some way, you go into Settings --> Accounts and make the changes.
