following a bad BIOS command all my USB ports are locked and I can't access the PC neither through keyboard nor mouse.
I have a Pavilion P6-2370ef with a H-Cupertino2-H61-uATX motherboard
Is there a way to reset BIOS to manufacturer's state ?
I have the HP specs for the motherboard which deals only with the CMOS and BIOS PASSWORD jumpers.
- I have removed the CMOS battery
- I have done the reset of CMOS and BIOS PASSWORD through the proper jumpers as described in the HP specs of the motherboard.
- HP user support has no answer.
but the USB ports are still locked.
There is a BIOS_RECOVERY jumper but I don't know how to use it.
Many thanks in advance to somebody who has an idea

I am Br112
the correct method was to :
-power down the PC
-change the position of the CLEAR_CMOS strap
-power on the PC
the USB ports are now usable.
- down power the PC
- put the CLEAR_CMOS strap in its initial position
- power on the PC again...
the HP specs did not include power on after change of position of the strap.
