HP All in One PC 20 c410a

I bought this all in one 3 weeks ago for my 2 boys to do home schooling during the Covid-19 lockdown. The computer has been operating perfectly fine, even as recent as yestetday morning when i used it to set up a new router. Once i was finished I shut it down. When I tried turning it on again a while later it wouldnt boot. The power led is on at the rear, and i can hear the fans starting up, but they turn off again very quickly and everything is dead. The power led doesnt light up on the front at all. I have used the virtual agent to try and perform a master reset by unplugging AC adaptor, and ive tried holding the power button down for at least 10 secs. Nothing is working. I just get the short burst from the fans then nothing.

Not powering on is nearly always a hardware issue -- so even if you forced a Factory Reset, that is software and would only NOT have fixed the issue, it could have actually trashed the PC.

You should not be having problems like this with a new PC!

You paid for free HP Tech Support as part of the warranty coverage, so you might as well make use of it.

Unfortunately, we are NOT HP Tech Support and we have no way to diagnose or repair your PC, so while this PC is still under warranty, you should contact HP Customer Support directly to have them put you in touch with HP Technical Support to see what they can do about troubleshooting and repairing your machine remotely.

If they are unable to fix your PC, then you need to explore what options you have to get it replaced under the warranty.
