Pavilion 590-p0063na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The HP update app shows a BIOS update as critical to version F.42. When I let the app run it asks me to restart the PC but then it just runs for five seconds then tries again. Left it doing this for several minutes before I reset the CMOS. The machine then started but the “Restart your Computer” message came up again as it tried to update the BIOS again.

I’ve now deselected the update. Are there any known issues with this update?
