Product: HP Pavilion Desktop 690-0067c
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP Support Assistant said I needed to update the BIOS.   File name sp87681.exe.   I ran it, came up to diagnostics screen.  Wouldn't boot off a rescue CD or USB.  I put it in Legacy mode to get them to boot, now the computer beeps 3 times, pauses, beeps 3 times, endlessly.

 

I can't get anything to show on the screen.

 

Not pleased with HP's support or website, not pleased at all.

Note: I unplugged all external drives and USB sticks.
