Hi:

 

HP retired support for your PC since it is more than 10 years old.

 

This reputable 3rd party website has the last BIOS update HP released for your PC.

 

HP Pavilion a6235x BIOS (driverscollection.com)

 

I do not recommend that you update the BIOS unless you are running supported operating system that the BIOS update was written for, which was Windows Vista.

 

If you do, it may not end well for the PC.
