Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I did the latest bios update from hp for my motherboard. It put a password on my bios and I can no longer access boot options or bios. It doesn't give a halt code after 3 failed attempts. I've tried the 5 minute cmos battery. I'm trying to leave it out for longer to see if that helps.

Leaving it out longer wont help...you will need to clear cmos password...using 2 jumpers on your motherboard...find them and look for clearpwd position...put them there...then boot up again...that way you will erase it

I found the jumpers but it doesn't tell me what to do with them
