BIOS update (sp49904) for my HPE-380t has revoked certificate

Pavillion Elite HPE-380t
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My computer has started to lock up when resuming from sleep mode and I  started looking for a solution. There is apparently a newer BIOS (6.10) than what I have installed (6.09) and wanted to try that to see if it would resolve my problem. After download and attempted execution, the file is shown as having an explicitly revoked certificate. Is there a version of the BIOS that has a valid certificate? Looking for a solution to my problem, but don't want to introduce other problems.

BIOS update (sp49904) for my HPE-380t has revoked certificate

@Windago

Welcome to the HP Forums 🙂

I would like to take a moment and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers.

As I understand the BIOS update for your HPE-380t has revoked certificate,

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

Did you attempt to update the BIOS from the HP Support assistant?

Or was it updated via the HP website?

While you respond to that, here's what you need to do:

I must let you know that the updates are only released to either fix/repair an earlier version or to make changes to it,

If there's no requirement of any change, there wouldn't be a release.

If you wish to find the updates from HP: Click here to find and install (if available)

Keep me posted,

If the information I've provided was helpful,

give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,

that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Good Luck.
