BRAND NEW PC SAME ERROR ISSUES ON START UP

Pavilion 570-p019na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Recently bought this brand new Pavilion 570-p019na and have had nothing but problems.

On start up it takes ages and just freezes for long periods, it says system interrupts 100%, if it doesnt say that it will say CPU 100% when nothing is running.

This happens every time I start it up, I cannot use it until like 45 minutes.

Event viewer on system has many same error messages and the source states that DistributedCom is the issue with  event ID being 10016.

Here is the general description:

The application-specific permission settings do not grant local activation permission for the COM server application with CLSID {D63B10C5-BB46-4990-A94F-E40B9D520160} and APPID. This security permission can be modified using the component services administrative tool.

Any advice on this would be much appreciated, I can still get a refund as I only purchased 3 weeks ago , I hope to avoid this as it could be something simple that does not warrant a refund.

BRAND NEW PC SAME ERROR ISSUES ON START UP

Greetings,

Welcome to the forum.

I am not an HP employee.

Back up data.

Do a HP Recovery (link).

Don't install anything. Run the PC to see if the problem goes away.

Run the PC offline for a day. It is possible a Microsoft W10 update is borking your PC.

It is pointless to troubleshoot a brand new PC.

Return to seller (refund or exchange) if the symptom persists.

Regards

Thank you for your response and trying to help.

I did what you suggested and it is no different, probably slightly worse.

Straight refund I think and purchase a non HP product for sure.

BRAND NEW PC SAME ERROR ISSUES ON START UP

Hi Marty,

You're very welcome.

Very sorry we could not resolve your issue.

There is no guarantee you will not have a similar issue with a different OEM PC.

Individual PC component manufacturers also have the same failure rates.

It happens.

Regards
