I Have HP 290 G4 Microtower i7 10th Generation Desktop, have been using it smoothly without any problem, Recently I updated it to windows 11 and Still it was better and the performance and everything was so great but Yesterday Idk what happened when I turned on the desktop it failed to boot up to windows it says "The Bios recovery files cannot be found or the files are corrupted." and more error information, I tried to download Bios recovery setup from HP support Page "Driver - HP 290 G4 Microtower PC (8QY84AV) | HP® Customer Support" HP Consumer Desktop PC BIOS Update (ROM Family SSID 86E9) The file was downloaded successfully and extracted the file on another computer but the extracted "086E9F32.EXE" file doesn't open to create the recovery bios setup.

@MamiGutu -- do you see a window like this:

Which option did you choose?

That's my main problem this dialog is not coming, the bios setup only extracts the file and then the cursor shows loading and then it disappear.

@MamiGutu --  the extracted "086E9F32.EXE" file should open to create the recovery BIOS setup screen, as I posted, above.

I have no idea why it does for me, but does not do it for me. Sorry.
