Hello Team,

I upgraded my BIOS and it failed with having a blank screen. Everything was working great and wanted to upgrade the BIOS and thought it would help being it wasn't done in awhile. Pavilion 570 -P094 Serial Number: [edit] Product Number: Z5P29AAR#ABA. The upgrade was done with Windows 10 Home Edition 64bit OS. When I did the upgrade everything was verified and went to the last step, please wait and rebooted to no screen (blank). Nothing came up on screen no high fans, no beeps, nothing. The computer sounds the same and I tried to use a HDMI to monitor nothing. I just have my power button on top which is blinking. Did the windows KEY+B but keyboard now has no lights to do this. Tried 4 other new keyboards too.

I have a USB recovery I did when upgrading to fall back on. PLEASE HELP ME. This is a brand new machine but older from HP.

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

 

Did you use HP Support Assistant to update the BIOS?

 

You may have to contact HP Support (Link) for factory service if all BIOS Recovery steps at this site (Link) for HP Desktop PCs have failed.

 

Also try the last step which involves resetting CMOS by removing the CR2032 MB battery.
