HP Envy Beats All-in-one PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

We have been running two of the HP ENVY Beats All-in-one for about 6 years without fail. We selected an update available from the HP Support and at some point either during or post update the screen is now black. The unit will power up, all lights will come on (power button, Beats logo/ speaker in middle front, LED lights on back connections (LAN  and power supply) however the screen will not pull up the login in. We get no noises, no cursor, no errors; just a blank screen. I was able to successfully plug in a tower (HP Pavillion i7) to the HDMI port and get the tower computer to pull up on the screen, but I can not get the HDMI to output any video to an external monitor to check for system errors. What are my options regarding potential avenues to get the screen back up or at least get the screen pulled up on an external monitor to diagnose the issue?

Possibly a reset of the bios (cmos)  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uay90ZdHCX8

Restore of original bios might work https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qpiGUojtr3E

I looked at the manual but did not see how to reset cmos so possibly that first video I listed is not for your system.

It is possible to rest the CMOS by removing the battery but be careful.
