Black screen after safe mode

Pavillion 500-070
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Did SFC scannow stopped at 47%. Researched it suggested I start in safe mode. Started in safe mode and all I get is black screen nothing. So I replaced HD with new one. Put Media Rescue in USB to start, nothing comes up just black screen. I did change to 3 other monitors, changed cables still same thing. Put new HD in other PC starts up. Reseated everything I could. With new HD thought it would come up for me to load OS, BUT nothing. Am I missing something. I have replaced HD's before but nothing like this has happened. Any help would be great,. Lights and fans all work. HD light comes on then stops. HELP

Black screen after safe mode

Welcome to HP forums, I see that your computer goes to a black screen when you start in safe mode.

 

Boot the computer into the Bios and then disable secure boot and enable legacy support.

Click on the + sign next to "secure boot settings for consumer notebook computers" and follow the steps in this document:- Click here

 

Once done, check the if the USB drive is detected.

 

If that does not work, answer the following question for further assistance:

Where did you get the recovery media?

Did you create or received it from HP?

Black screen after safe mode

PC goes to Black Screen when I start now. I can not get into anything because I can not see anything. Can not change settings, can not see what screen comes up. It all started when I went to safe mode. Anything I can download to USB to get passed this??
