Black screen and bleeping

Pavilion a6332.uk
Microsoft Windows Vista

On start-up all I get is a black screen and continuous beeping in patterns of one short beep and one long beep. this happened before approx. one month ago and I searched the internet where it was suggested that there was an issue with the RAM. I found that the boards were covered in dust so cleaned them and replace, started up first time. Now there is no issue with RAM and dust but same bleeping and lack of start-up. any suggestions?

@DOUGELLIO, welcome to the forum.

The one short and one long beep is telling you that you have a memory problem.  Here is a HP BIOS beep code table.  It may be that there is some corrosion on the contacts.  This would explain why when you removed them before that they worked when you reinstalled them.  Be extremely careful if you clean the contacts.
