Dear Community and hopefully a HP employee,
I did a recommended update and noticed it said that it would affect the BIOS, and afterward needed a restart.
All seemed well until on the restart the LED's came on (just white, I set mine to purple) which wasn't a good start, after a while of waiting nothing changed. Still just LED's, fans and no beeps. I tried the BIOS reboot suggestions until it came to opening the PC up to restart the CMOS as I still have warranty and don't know if it would affect it going in there myself.
I've tried contacting hp directly and have only had slight success with a whatsapp representative, but between a busy day isn't very productive. Does anyone have any recommendations of directly calling someone or any other suggestions of a fix?
Thanks for any help 🙂

Hi
I am not an HP employee.
I can say automated: HP BIOS updates or Windows BIOS updates can cause problems.
Try all recovery steps at this HP site: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04126730
You may have to contact HP Support for factory warranty service, this may not be covered by HP, if you cannot get a successful POST after following all options at the above link.
Best wishes.
