HP all in one 27-a230
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hp 27-a230 all in one. Customers PC boots to the login screen. After login, the screen goes black w/ the mouse poiter visible. Control alt delete works, but after clicking task manager, back to the black screen w/ mouse pointer. Same result with safe mode. This is where I get stumped....That is the admin account, his wifes, non admin account boots, logs in, and the screen and PC work flawlessly. Any help is much appreciated. Please advise. Thank you

If that cursor is a command prompt, then when you next get it, type "dir" (without the quotes) to list the current directory contents.  IF that works, I can provide you information on how to create another admin account using commands and after that, you can try logging in using that account.

I updated the post with "mouse pointer".
