Boot Loop HP OPP All-in-one PC

HP OPP All-in-one
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My All-In-One PC was stuck in a boot loop when I tried to restart everything (Removing all files and stuff). All it does is it has a gray screen with the HP logo on it, then it loads into an information page, (At the bottom is says: "Press ESC key for Startup Menu"). Then it just flashes to just a gray screen, the it goes to the gray screen with the HP logo, then repeat. Any tips to help?

Boot Loop HP OPP All-in-one PC

Greetings Ygbot14,

Welcome to the forum.

I am not an HP employee.

One of two possible things may be happening.

You have a hardware problem.

Windows is messed up.

Start with hardware.

Tap "ESC" at boot. Run system diagnostics or go here (using a different PC) to download HP Diagnostics. You have not included your PC's product number so I am assuming you are running a newer PC since you have W10 installed. Download UEFI Diagnostics or the 4-in-1 option. Set this up on a USB stick. Then boot to the stick. The 4-in-1 option includes HP Vision Diagnostics required with HP Legacy BIOS systems (pre-2012 PCs).

Then you may have to repair the W10 installation if hardware tests pass.

Do you have W10 installation media? Did you make any offline backups and bootable recovery media which could be used to restore a previous version of the operating system?

You will need the W10 installation media to check, repair, or reinstall the operating system.

Has your system updated to W10 version 1803 lately. This type of issue sometimes happens with a failed W10 version update.

Regards
