Booting error
09-15-2019 07:14 AM - edited 09-15-2019 07:15 AM

My desktop is stuck at the HP screen, with an option <F10=Setup>, the key is not changing the screen. i'd appreciate an assistance in rectifying the problem. Thanks.

You should consider running the built-in hardware diagnostics to see which devices, if any, have failed.
You do that by pressing the Esc key repeatedly while rebooting the PC.
Eventually, you should the the HP Startup Menu that looks something like the one below:
When that appears, press the key indicated for running System Diagnostics -- and report back here what it finds.

Thanks very much for the reply. However, i am experiencing another difficulty. The CPU can't recognize the keyboard so the keys are not functioning (note that it's recognizing the mouse). What could i do at this point?
