HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop PC TG01-0000i (8BG56AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I hooked up our new HP Gaming desktop TG01 and the monitor stays black.  The green led light on the tower and the fan are on but other than that I hear nothing.  When I disconnect the monitor cord from the tower it says no signal so I don't think it is the monitor.  I'm not very techinically inclined so I'm out of ideas.

I believe you have a graphics card.  Be sure to connect the monitor to the graphics card and NOT to the motherboard graphics connector.  Video from the motherboard is disabled when a graphics card is used.

Otherwise check  warranty  here
