UPDATE: I posted this at 4 PM, at 6 PM I got an email update saying that my computer had been repaired and has shipped ... I still think it is not until I inquire or raise a fuss that my status changes.

Hello, I purchased a computer on 6/26/22 and it arrived on  7/10/22.  On 7/15/22, I had to ship it back to HP after it would not power on after 2 days of use. I tracked it on FedEx and it arrived back at the HP repair center on 7/19/22 however HP didn't report they received it until l7/21/22. It is now 8/2/22 and I have yet to be updated on the progress of my repair, or what caused the computer to malfunction in the first place. Customer service is no help. The status remains "pending part" and the ship date has been pushed back from 7/26/22 to 8/3/22 and that's only when I call to inquire that the date changes for shipment. I paid good money for a computer that I used two days before sending it back.  Needless to say, very disappointed in HP and I don't know how I can escalate this situation. Also, when I type in my serial number for the computer I actually bought, the wrong computer shows up. I purchased  HP Victus Gaming DT TG02-0325m, not the product shown in the product name. can someone help me get to the right department to try and resolve this? or should I just request a refund?
