Did you obtain any software from: www.bugsplat.com ?

If so, reinstall it, reboot it, uninstall it, and reboot.

If the error-message still is present, run REGEDIT, and do a search for 'bugsplat.dll' -- all occurrences of it should have been deleted, if the "uninstaller" worked perfectly.

Thank you for the prompt replies.  Sadly they did not solve the problem.  However do not play computer games so I guess I can live with the missing.dll.  The only annoying thing is the error message poppin up with a loud "ping=" when I boot up.

Thanking you

As I "hinted" before, use REGEDIT to search for all references to BUGSPLAT, and delete that key.

Reboot, and see if that remediates the pop-up message.
