Can HP 2310e monitor support the desktop HP 270 - P072HK?

HP270-P072HK i7-7700 W10
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I just purchased the new Desktop with the model 270-P072HK, and tried to connect to my old monitor HP2310e. However, the display only show “input signal out if range, change settings to 1920x1080 (60Hz)”
Pls help to fix it or let me know they both can be supported each other??

@Carrie109, welcome to the forum.

I will need further information to help you.

The computer has two video ports: VGA and HDMI out.  The monitor has two Input connectors: DVI-D, DisplayPort 1.1 - (both w/ HDCP) (No VGA).

Which connectors are you using to connect the monitor to the computer?
