If caught in the auto repair cycle and it will not complete, it has been reported that using the repair function from the Windows install media may be able to finish.  With a working PC, go here

Scroll down to the "Using the tool to create installation media" and follow the directions.

Then boot the problem PC with this new media and pick repair instead of install.  If it is successful, then good.  If not, then you can reinstall Windows with this media.
