Connection to Docking station problem

HP ProBook 640 G2 Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello first time posting here, I have an ongoing problem with my employee's docking station connection to hes laptop, sometimes when he turns it on and connects it to the docking station the mouse and the keyboard do not work, this problem forces us to disconnect and reconnect the computer and restart it, we tried to handle the issue with the hp softpaq software and tried to handle in the customer service of HP in my country but the problem keeps happening
I must note that I also use the operating system that came with the computer - I did not format it.

I also tried to switch my mouse and keyboard to new ones, they are wired.
And I tried to change a docking station but the problem continues to happen.
I'm using a 2013 Ultraslim docking station


Any advice will be welcome.
