Touchsmart 520-1031 PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an older desktop that is requesting a password to access BIOS. I assume there’s a default password I need to use? There’s no error code for an incorrect password. Product number: QU156AA. Thanks.

Strange that you get nothing. On some desktop machines there is a set of pins with a jumper on the motherboard that will be marked clr pw but the All in One  you have uses more similiar to a laptop motherboard so not sure it would have it. You may be able to remove the battery on motherboard for 5 minutes-with power cord unplugged of course- to clear it.

Your Upgrade and Servicing Guide shows how to remove back to access motherboard:

On some machines you can generate a halt code to post here by typing the wrong password in 3 times. Or just leave blank and tap Enter 3 times.

Sorry, I just wasn’t using the right terminology. When I said I wasn’t receiving an error code, I meant to say halt code. I searched the forum before posting and saw other users had received a code after several passwords attempts, but unfortunately I am not. After 3 incorrect passwords, even leaving it blank each time, the computer attempts to boot regularly.
