Product: Z2 Tower G5
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
If properly operating USB drives are left on when restarting the Z2 G5 Tower, it will not boot up. Sits there with a black screen forever. Makes no difference, one drive or more. Same on any of the various USB ports. All work properly if plugged in after bootup. All drives are the typical WD or Seagate USB storage drives, formatted through MS Disk management.

This is a known issue -- and there is no "solution" for this other than NOT to have any USB drives connected when you boot the PC. I have the same issue with an HP laptop, and this is the only thing that works.
I am a volunteer and I do not work for, nor represent, HP
