Disable Boot from USB on HP Thin Client T620

HP t620 thin client
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I am wondering how to disable the USB boot functionality in the BIOS of the t620 (bios version 2.15.1234) .

I have tried disabling the UEFI boot source and USB floppy/CD  source from the boot order but it still tries to boot from usb if i do a power cycle.

I need to disable this abiltiy and capture this bios to our HPDM in order to deploy it to hundeds of other t620's.

To me, this suggests that the tiny battery on the motherboard is failing to supply a "trickle" of power to the CMOS memory-chip, such that the updated BIOS-settings are not being "saved".
