Disk light not turning on

F3D15AA#ABA
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
So I tried to turn on my PC after I shut it down since it locked itself while loading a map on CSGO and plugged in my mouse that came in today. Everything turns on but the light for the disk that's left of the power button and it won't load to the monitor or respond to my keyboard and mouse

Disk light not turning on

@-WaitWut-

Welcome to HP Forums,

This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂

As I understand the disk light isn't turning on anymore,

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

Is this LED making any difference to the way your computer works?

Do you have any performance issues?

While you respond to that, here's what you need to know:

As long as the device is functioning properly and you don't have any performance issues as such, you have nothing to worry about, whether or not the lights works, that said, you may want to try the below steps to ensure it doesn't lock up going forward:

Troubleshoot problems that cause the computer to stop responding, hang, freeze, or lock up.

Symptoms include:

  • Windows stops responding to mouse and keyboard input.

  • Nothing moves on the computer display.

  • Mouse cursor in constant busy mode.

Before troubleshooting lockup or freeze problems on your computer, check the following items for a better solution to specific symptoms:

CLICK HERE FOR MORE STEPS AND INSTRUCTIONS.

(By the end of this article all the issues should be resolved)

Keep me posted,

If the information I've provided was helpful,

give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,

that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Good Luck.
