Does standard hp warranty cover failed bios update resulting in bricking

HP Recommended
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

All instructions were followed precisely I tried to fix it multiple times cmos reset ect. Update was recommended after HDMI port stopped working and they said it might resolve it.
