Omen by HP Obelisk Desktop PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I have an Omen by HP Obelisk Desktop PC.

Brand new pc, had just started it and windows and all stuff was being updated.

There was a new BIOS update and i decided to do it. While the BIOS update was being processed, the electricity at home went off, shutting the pc in between the update.

When the electricity came back and i tried to start it, it would not start and only give many beeps.

After the beeps, the fans and all would just keep working but no output in the monitor.

I think the BIOS may have been corrupted. Any idea if i can recover it ?

Cannot take it to the service center because it is an imported model.

If not recoverable can i change the motherboard with some other same size motherboard, cause i dont think i can get the same one here. Anyone had any idea if i can find the same board in India, if not can someone suggest a replacement board. All i know of the board is that it's size is Micro ATX and the name is Edoras.

All and every help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

@Victor06,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I reviewed your post and I understand that the power cut off when you were doing the BIOS update and now the computer is not booting to Windows.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you follow the steps in the below article to recovery the BIOS and check whether the issue is resolved.
