Elitedesk 800 G1
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

We have a number of HP Elitedesk 800 G1 that after migrating to Win10 1809 shutdown when a reboot is initiated, but user or by SCCM' .

Preliminary testing indicates that disabling Secure Boot resolves this issue but, this in not ideal as this breaks our security model.

Has anyone else seen this ? Has anyone resolved this without compromising security ?

Thank you ?

Have you updated the BIOS to the latest version? I see that there are LOTS of fixes for weird and wonderful issues with this model.

Yes, we are updating the bios before migrating.

We are using 2.77 April 2019 as per HP website.

OK. So from a command prompt, if you type shutdown -r -t 0 does it still switch off?
Are you able to try a clean 1909 on one unit and see?

Have you tried to turn off fast boot to see if that helps?
