HP Recommended

So I bought a laptop from a family friend for my grandma and was told they didn’t have time to factory reset it and to do it myself.

 

It’s been stuck at 43% for about five hours now, and I’m not sure what to do. Gran says to shut it down and give up but I have a feeling that’s just gonna cause more issues than solutions.

 

Please help.

edit; i did text the original owner and they finally got back to me, “it takes a while, just make sure it’s plugged in”
