Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I just turned my pc on as usual, and suddenly is shown an error message indicating that I have to do a backup of my hard drive and run a hard drive test from boot. I followed the steps and the hard drive test shows the following info:
Hard Drive 2
SMART Check: Failed
Failure ID 935nlf-87w95c-x87t7g-60m103
Product ID: T1H57EA#ABU

Hi,
The failure code means that the SMART disk check detects imminent failure of the drive. So, first back up all your personal files to an external drive.
You will need to repace the hard drive. It is not the SSD but the 1TB mechanical drive which is failing. So you will need an new 3.5" hard drive of your preferred brand such as Seagate, WD... and capacity,
Example:
Once you have replaced the drive you can get a USB to SATA adapter and connect the old drive to the PC to transfer files to new hard drive.
You can take a look at these HP videos for your model (click on hard drive 3.5 inch in list on left)

You will have to replace the hard drive:
Testing a Hard Disk from the BIOS
Hard Drive Failure Errors: Imminent Failure, Smart, BIOHD, HD535, etc
Hard Disk Error Displays before the Computer Starts
If you still have a guarantee, you can contact Hp directly, if not, you can get the hard drive from:
Contacts:http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-phone-assist.html
Ordering HP Certified Replacement Parts
HP authorized parts partners Latin America and the Caribbean
HP authorized parts partners (Europe, Middle East and Africa)
