Outlook has been locking freezing when opening programme. Tried various attempts to resolve, ensured latest office version, did repairs and then using HP web site even doing the scanpst.exe to check data files but this stopped with an error message about the disk.
Pc works fine except when I run Outlook
Did a hardware check on the HDD as recommended and got the above error. Do I need to replace the HDD or is it something else

That error indicates that it is a storage device failure.
Replace the hard disk with a new one.
Copy the important files to an external storage device and purchase a new hard disk.
Use your recovery media to perform an HP factory image recovery.
