I cant remember my password that i set for my bios, so i can change Bios settings.  I have an all in one and not sure if removing the cmos battery or jumper switch applies here.   Is there a way i can reset my password?

Hi @JaedenHim

Welcome to the HP Forums!

This is a wonderful place to converse with the community, get assistance and find tips.

I reviewed your post and understand that you want to know how to reset the bios password.

I’d love to help!

I would like to inform you that reseating the CMOS battery will restore the bios defaults and remove the bios password. However, HP doesn’t recommend removing or replacing any internal parts. You could reseat the CMOS battery and make changes at your own discretion

Hope that answers your question and you have a great day!
