My pc is not turning on there is a power light in the back but when I press the power button it does not turn on.
I have tried holding the power button, opening it up and resetting the bios by removing the battery and putting it back in, and I also tried looking on other people's posts and trying the solutions to their problems but nothing has worked.
My model number is 24-f0027SM.

Hi,
You either have a external power supply problem, though the power supply shows otherwise, or you have a MB component problem or a MB problem. Most hardware is integrated on the MB. The power on button or the associated MB header/connection may have a problem. It could be a MB or MB connected component short to ground.
Replace the MB battery.
Disconnect any unnecessary peripherals. Try again.
Try a different power supply.
Reseat RAM or try different RAM. Remove all RAM and check for a BIOS POST error message.
Check/reseat all MB connections: look at the HDD and DVD connections. Disconnect each drive and check for any BIOS activity. Check the WIFI card if applicable.
