HP Recommended
Product: HP Pavilion All-in-One - 24-r014
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

All-in-one won’t turn on. Light on back where power plugs in is lit. Have already tried the following…

-hard reset

-verified power plug works using multimeter, 19.7 vdc

-shorted out pins 2 to 4 on power button board, also tried where ribbon connects to motherboard

-cleared CMOS battery

-removed motherboard, visual inspection reveals no physical damaged components.

 

Anybody got any more ideas… Leaning toward bad motherboard, which isn’t worth it to replace since unit is 5 years old.
