Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

 I could not get the USB disk to boot. After searching for a possible answer, I found where one person said to reset BIOS to the default options.

After re-setting BIOS, the USB disk booted fine.

BUT Now!

When I try to boot my Win 10 disk, the PC boots to grub. My Win 10 disk is EFI, but I do not see it under EFI boot option. The system looks like it wants to only boot Legacy  devices. Also the DVD player is not listed.

BIOS is at 2.15

I  restore Win 10 from backup, but that did not help.

I looked thru BIOS, but can not find any reference to UEFI or secure boot setting.

Thanks.

@Easyt -- After re-setting BIOS ...

Does the BIOS SETUP have a section where you can add devices to the list of acceptable "bootable" devices?

Did that "reset" remove your DVD and your disk-drive from that list?
