HP All in One difficulty starting up

HP All In One Desktop (Touch)

Hi.

I am having difficulty starting up My HP All in One Desktop (touch). Once i press the power button, it will start but it is very slow until it reaches the page wherein it asks the password of my computer, after entering the password, again it is very slow. Until it reaches my desktop page wherein Some of my desktop icons are blank, white in color.  The mouse cursor keeps on having the “reading” cursor symbol once i put it on the start button and it cant open any file on my desktop.

I tried BIOS update and same problem occurs.

Removed all connected to my computer like printer and flashdrives. Tried restarting it. Same thing happens until i patiently waited for any changes on y desktop page, one pop up showed up stating “ the application is not responding, the program may respond again if u wait” with button option end process or cancel.

Pls help. Thank u in advanced.

HP All in One difficulty starting up

@john_efraim

Welcome to HP Forums. This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

I have gone through your Post and I would like to help

This seems to be an issue with the OS

I suggest you try a System Restore to an earlier before the issue started

- Select the Start button, type control panel and then choose it from the list of results.
- Search Control Panel for Recovery.
- Select Recovery > Open System Restore > Next.
- Choose the restore point prior to the issue and then select Next > Finish.

If the issue persists, I suggest you perform a Reset

Please follow the instructions in this Link: https://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c04742289

Keep me posted how it goes
