March 30, 2021, the HP Assistant said I needed to update BIOS as it was out of date, so once the update was complete, it said to shut down & restart the computer to finish. I shut it down, and NOW THE COMPUTER IS DEAD and WON'T COME BACK ON!
This computer is barely a year old!!! February 5, 2020, I ordered the HP Envy Desktop PC TE01-0150xt directly from HP
I called HP Support and was told that it must be the motherboard. This computer has the Intel Rother Coffee Lake H370 motherboard. The motherboard should have lasted a minimum of 10 plus years. This computer has been only been used for documents, no gaming, no videos, nothing. In fact, it has been used very little for the past year.
It worked just fine until today after the HP BIOS update HP said I needed to do!
HP Support said the warranty ended last month on my $1400 computer, so, they won't do anything. **bleep**! 😡😡😡😡
Has anyone else had the same issue after doing HP's Bios update?
Thanks!
