HP Recommended
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

When the system goes to sleep, I can wake it up using the power switch or keyboard within the first half hour or so.  However, after that, it can't be woken up by any means other than shutting it down and restarting it.

What I have done to try to fix it(just about everything):

1) Made sure to allow the keyboard and mouse to allow wakeup by checking the box in Device Manager.

2) Experimented with all the power set up options.  Hibernation is disabled, sleep is enabled after 30 minutes.   No other power saving options are turned on.

3) Experimented with the BIOS settings.  There are only a few power related settings and I've selectively tried turning them all off.

I know the computer is entering S3 sleep because I enabled the BIOS option to blink the LED to show the mode.  Also, the fans power down properly.

I am at my wits end.  This seems like it shouldn't be so hard to get working.  Has anyone encountered problems with "longer sleep"?  Any further ideas?  Thanks.

P.S.  The computer is stock with the exception of a Radeon HD 6530 graphics card.
