HP ENVY 23-d027c not booting. Screen blank.

HP ENVY 23-d027c
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I opened the back of HP ENVY 23-d027c to upgrade the hard disk. Afterward  I closed the back. PC does not boot. Lights on back and power button are on. Fan spins.

I have tried the following :

1. Unplug from power, press on start button for one minute, put plug back in.

2. Unplug from power , Clear CMOS using jumpers, put plug back in.

3. Remove RAM . The motherboard beeps. Repalced RAM.

None of the above helps. Screen is blank.

Please help.

Hi

"I opened the back of HP ENVY 23-d027c to upgrade the hard disk."

Did you upgrade the Hard Disk?

So if you did, then I suggest you remove the Hard Disk and try to power on with no HDD fitted and report the results.

Hi

So it does POST, and you can access the BIOS screens.

You can/have run an F2 diagnostic?

You have a DVD/USB to boot from when the Hard Disk is removed?
