Greetings,

Welcome back to the forum.

I am not an HP employee.

Yes, F10 to enter the BIOS.

Is the PC booting correctly now?

What version of the BIOS is listed in msinfo32?

It sounds like the system recovered to the previous BIOS.

sp70266 is the only BIOS update available when running W8.1.

W8.1 BIOS updates usually work on W10.

Thank U for the reply.

Seems the UPDATE will not work.

Is there anyway to update the BIOS ?

What is the best way to check for updated BIOS ?

All my posts are my opinion.

Hi,

Is your PC working correctly now?

You stated the BIOS update for Windows 8 is not installing.

You could try a BIOS recovery (Link). Read this document. Try resetting CMOS. Instructions are found at the end of the document.

Some HP PC BIOS updates can be done by creating a bootable flash drive. I don't think your PC supports this

This is the only BIOS update (Link) available from HP for your PC.

I have no other suggestions.

Regards
