Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP EliteDesk 800 G4 4YN91US Display stuck at HP Logo Protected by HP Surestart yet OS is booting in the background. You normally see a twirling circle at this point in a normal bootup but I do not see . Have removed the AC and completely powered down the unit and reseated the memory stick.

We can remote into the machine successfully and all is working BUT the monitor connected to the unit still shows the HP logo and text saying Protected by HP surestart. Switching to the other display port is no help. Sometimes after many power cycles it will come up ok on the local monitor and work for a few days.

Anyone heard of this issue?
