HP Envy 700-027c with board Joshua 815.rom v8.2: I have connected SSD to PCIe x16 but no boot?

H5p8AA#ABA
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have Windows 10 on an SSD card that is OS bootable. I can read and write to this SSD M.2 via an adaptor to X16 slot but I can not boot it into action. I have installed the driver from the SSD supplier. I have cloned my C: drive to it. I have made a copy and edited that copy in the Boot menu via bcdedit, with the exception of "usefirmwarepcisettings      No" I want to change this to "yes" which I don't know-how.  The SSD supplier list Min. Req. as bios v.2.3.   So, is there firmware or bios I can download to boot this SSD system? I have downloaded the updated BIOS from V 1.7 to V 2. I need some help please.
